Requirements:
1. Minimum age of fifteen
2. Participate in interview/screening process
3. Attend staff training
Job Segments:
Works with Camp Director, Medical Director, Unit Directors, and Camp Counselors to provide age and medically appropriate activities in designated areas.
Provides support and encouragement to campers.
Aids counselors in supervision of children, cleanliness and safety of surrounding environment.
Uses positive reinforcement consistently for appropriate interaction and behavior from children and peers.
Attends staff meetings during camp week when required.
Communicates daily with Camp Director, Medical Director, Unit Director and Camp
Counselors about needs, activities and issues of concern.
Conducts him/herself in compliance with policies, practices and procedures of Camp Breathe Easy.
Responsible for his/her group at all times.
Works with medical staff and counselors to promote, encourage and supervise health practices related to asthma.
Completes all necessary forms and evaluations.
Works with co-counselor and other staff members as a "team".
Reports to the LIT Leader.

Upon receipt of this completed registration, you will be mailed a medical form that must be completed and signed by a physician or medical practitioner, in that same mailing will be waivers/consent forms that must be signed by you & your guardian. It is after all of these steps are complete that we can then do reference checks, interview and determine your acceptance to attend the LIT Retreat.
The children of Camp Breathe Easy are very special to us and we want to ensure their health and safety as well as yours. Please understand that these documents are universal requirements of all volunteers and staff annually.
