Hello 2009 Campers, Parents and Volunteers!
Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Dr. Collette M. Hopkins and I am the 2009 Director for Camp Breathe Easy. I am so excited about joining Camp Breathe Easy. Last year I was the Director of Camp New Hope and the Volunteer Assistant Director of Camp High Five. I have been camping for a very long time. My first camp experience was when I was in high school in South Carolina. I served as a water safety instructor at a camp for children with polio. Since that time I have served in a variety of capacities at various camps. When not at camp I am a wife and mother. I am also a professional special educator and have my doctorate in special education research from Vanderbilt University.
This year is the 29th year of Camp Breathe Easy. Please join me in making this our best year ever!
